DC High Voltage Circuit Breaker (MCCB) HNM3DC Series

The HNM3DC series safely opens and closes as a breaker for DC 1500V direct current distribution for renewable energy.

In solar power generation (PV) and energy storage systems, the system voltage on the DC side is high, and current technology is evolving towards 1500 VDC, necessitating switching devices that operate at 1500 VDC. Junction boxes, DC cabinets, inverters, and energy storage inverters require switchgear that provides insulation, 1500VDC load switching, or remote operation capabilities, and must offer overload and short-circuit protection for the circuit. Thanks to years of development and manufacturing experience, EATON provides DC1500V MCCB for PV and energy storage systems. The HNM3DC DC molded case circuit breaker (MCCB) is equipped with protection functions against line overloads and short circuit faults, preventing damage to circuits and power devices, and is suitable for DC distribution networks with rated currents from 200A to 500A and rated voltages of DC1000V/DC1500V. These MCCBs are widely used in industries such as renewable energy, power supply, industrial control systems, and industrial construction.
